The Shoot begins at 10:00am right after the 9:45am Safety Meeting.

You do not have to be a Club Member to Compete

PROCEDURE

The Match will consist of ten shots per person.

There is a time limit of 3 minutes per shooter.

Two shots at 500 yds,   two Shots at 600 yards,   two shots at 700 yards,   two shots at 800 yards (10 points per shot),   and two shots at 1000 yards (15 points per shot).

Any Gun Permitted

No Sighters

Two Relays per Shooter

The Range is COLD prior to this Match   (No Practice Rounds)

March 23rd

MAR 23rd was the Harry Jones First Steel Plate Match of 2019.
The plates were at the 499, 605, 723, 800, and 1,000 yard distances.

1st place: Jordan Mayle with 255 points

2nd place: Scott Whitehair with 245 points

3rd place: Tanner Robinson with 225 points

Harry Jones would like to thank all of the shooters that came in the wind and cold to shoot in Harry Jones' first steel plate match of the year.

April 13th

We had 16 competitors shoot today.

1st place: Joe Waligora with 255 points

2nd place: Scott Whitehair with 255 points

Waligora and Whitehair had a five-shot shoot off at 900 yards.

3rd place: Tom Stewart with 245 points

We also had young Brody Pratt, who was just nine-years-old, come out and score 130 points. He shot with a Remington Model 7 6.5 Creedmoor

Seventeen Shooters competed in the first Harry Jones Steel Plate Match of 2018 on March 24th.
The plates were at the 499, 605, 723, 800, and 1,000 yard distances.   Two shots at 500 yds,   two Shots at 600 yards,   two shots at 700 yards,   two shots at 800 yards (10 points per shot),   and two shots at 1000 yards (15 points per shot).

1st place: Jordan Mayle with 250 points

2nd place: John Blaker with 240 points

3rd place: Dave Gump with 205 points

April 14th

Starting April 14th Two shots at 500 yards (5 points per shot),   two Shots at 600 yards (10 points per shot),   two shots at 700 yards (15 points per shot),   two shots at 800 yards (20 points per shot),   and two shots at 1000 yards (25 points per shot).

Today we had Eight Shooters for the Harry Jones Steel Plate Match.
