HARRY JONES
Long Range Deer Hunter Match Results

HARRY JONES has combined a Score Shoot with a Deer Hunters Shoot

(Deer Rifle Score Shoot)

All classes of guns will be shot, but lets see how your Deer Rifle shoots.   Same rules, same targets, same two relays at 100 and two relays at 200, Short Range Benchrest.    Everyone is welcome to shoot.

We shoot two (5-shot) targets at 100 yards and two (5-shot) targets at 200 yards, that is five (5) shots per target plus sighters.  Shoot anything you want up to 30 caliber, guns will be put into classes, Factory Class, Varmint Class, Custom and Unlimited Class.  We shoot at 5 ten rings at 100 and 5 ten rings at 200, we do this twice at each distance.  Targets are scored 10, 9, 8, etc. and there is an X in the middle, which scores an X if you touch the X.  Come on out and give it a try, you don't need a real expensive gun to shoot.

HARRY JONES 2017

LONG RANGE DEER HUNTER SHOOT
  1000 Yards

Match April 8th at 10:00 am.

April 8th

On Saturday, April 8, 2017 we had our first Long Range Deer Hunter Shoot.  It was a cold frosty morning, but we had 12 shooters come out for the match. We shot at 1000 yards then moved to 700 yards shooting at a steel deer target.  Each shooter had 5 shots at the target, shooting for score only.  At the end you could take one shot at a steel crow target at 500 yards for extra points.  Winning the factory class was Joe Laskarin with a score of 80 and winning the hunter class was Jack Jones with a score 63.  Harry Jones 1000 Yard Range would like to thank everyone that braved the cold and shot with us.
