FREEDOM BENCHREST 1000 YARD POINT SYSTEM FOR LG AND HG · Participation: 0.01 points for participation in a class of competition (Freedom Benchrest Members only) · Relay win: 0.05 points x number of Freedom Benchrest Member Shooters in relay · Match win: 1.00 points for match win, regardless of number of Freedom Benchrest Member shooters in class · World Records: 4.00 points FREEDOM BENCHREST 600 YARD POINT SYSTEM FOR LG AND HG · Participation: 0.01 points for participation in a class of competition (Freedom Benchrest Members only) · LG group and score win: 0.5 points each · HG group and score win: 0.5 points each · LG and HG Overall win: 1.00 point each · Two Gun Overall win: 1.00 point · World Records: 4.00 points FREEDOM BENCHREST FACTORY GUN POINT SYSTEM FOR 600 AND 1000 YARDS · Group win: 0.5 points · Score win: 0.5 points · Overall win: 1.0 points REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS · When Regionals become viable program details will be announced NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS · Chairman, Board of Directors will announce program details as soon as possible after the beginning of the match season. INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS · Intent is to hold an international competition 1x per year o Competition will be between two or more different countries · It is recognized different shooting conditions will exist; fact of life. It is unrealistic for people to travel across the world for these competitions. · Competition will occur as close as possible to the same date. o Weather could force a delay at one or more host range venues PRIZES · Clubs may offer prizes; it is their decision about criteria how to award · Freedom Benchrest Regional / National and International Tournaments o Unless specified by prize donor(s), prizes will be distributed by random drawings o Shooter must be a Freedom Benchrest Member to be eligible MINIMUM CRITERIA TO COMPETE AT REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS · Shooters must compete in a minimum number of Club matches to compete at Regionals, Nationals, and International tournaments. o Minimums are detailed in Discipline Annexes in the Rules. o Must be a Freedom Benchrest Member to compete for points, aggregates and eligibility for prizes. o Non-Freedom Benchrest Members who meet the minimum number of Club match requirement, may compete in a class without earning points, no aggregate placement, and no eligibility for prizes. TOP SHOOTER OF THE YEAR PROGRAMS · TOP GUN Program o Based on accumulation of points in Club competitions Points earned at Regionals, Nationals and International tournaments are not counted o No restriction on the numbers of Club matches a shooter may compete at, however, The Best 18 match results count toward the points accumulation o The Top 10 finishers in Points Standings will be recognized Awards TBD o Must be a Freedom Benchrest Member to be eligible for this program · RAW SKILL Program o This program enables recognition of shooters who may not be able to pursue a Top Gun Shooter program, or who may compete in only one class of competition o It rewards consistent performance o Because of the possibility of one-class of competition, relay participation is the metric, not matches o Shooter must have competed in at least 10 relays o Ranking is based on points accumulation for all relays shot, in Club competition only, divided by the number of relays in which the shooter competed Points earned at Regionals, Nationals and International tournaments are not counted o The Top 10 finishers will be recognized Awards TBD o Must be a FREEDOM BENCHREST Member to be eligible for this program Consideration for this program is not allowed if shooter meets criteria for Top Gun LIFETIME MARKSMAN AWARD · Freedom Benchrest will implement a Lifetime Marksman Award system o Shooters who have earned similar points in other shooting associations will have them recognized in Freedom Benchrest as their baseline going forward in time with Freedom Benchrest Points accumulated as of December 31, of the current year will be recognized · See Shooting Discipline Annexes in Rules for levels of award recognition · Only Freedom Benchrest Members accumulate Lifetime Marksman Award points
